Delta Dental of New Mexico, Inc. is seeking a full time, highly-motivated and energetic Oral Health Advocate for our Uptown Albuquerque, NM offices with frequent travel within New Mexico.
The successful candidate will have excellent public speaking and presentation skills, the ability to connect with others and to forge strong relationships, be committed to the mission of serving children, seniors, at-risk populations, families and businesses, and be highly organized and analytical. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word for Windows is required. Must have excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills and be an organized team player who can multi-task, maintain detailed records, and manage time well. Must be able to work under stress of meeting deadlines and changing priorities, and have a flair for developing engaging visuals and presentation materials.
Other minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, three years' clinical experience in dental hygiene, and demonstrated experience in community oral health initiatives.
Preferred qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, DDS or DMD degree. Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants will be given special consideration.
