Speaker Information
Dr. Jeffery W. Johnston received a doctorate in dental surgery and a master’s degree in periodontology from the University of Michigan.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow in Pierre Fauchard Academy, International and American College of Dentists and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Johnston is senior vice president and chief science officer for Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, and director of the Research and Data Institute. He is also adjunct clinical associate professor/dean’s faculty at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology and adjunct associate professor of biosciences at Ohio State University. Dr. Johnston is the author of numerous scientific publications and has lectured extensively on the topics of periodontics, oral medicine and implant dentistry.
